ATS in the cloud with data security

No hassles with hardware or software.

Ubeeo is an ATS in the cloud. This gives you as a user enormous benefits, because you don’t have to worry about management, security, updates and upgrades in the IT infrastructure. The cloud saves time and costs. The cloud also offers flexibility and scalability.

Why choose the cloud?

Thanks to the cloud environment, the Ubeeo ATS works as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Use our recruitment system without having to worry about the hardware or the software within the IT infrastructure. We make sure it works.

GTT Tier 1-cloudservers in Amsterdam

That means, we make sure our recruitment software works.
The hardware infrastructure, for more than 10 years now, comes from GTT/ Exadata. They were announced by Gartner as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Cloud Enabled Managed Hosting. This means that they are considered a stable provider that continuously innovates. Our software runs on their servers in Amsterdam, in a global Tier 1 network.

Data security the highest priority

Data security is their top priority, as well as ours. GTT/Exadata hardware blocks all unlawful, irregular and excessive activity. The database and web server are physically separated and both have their own firewall.

We built Ubeeo ATS on Oracle’s database technology, combined with Java. Oracle implements Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) every quarter.

We write our software according to a fixed protocol. We continuously check that protocol with Outpost24 SWAT Service for the OWASP top 10 internet threats. We are also regularly tested by external agencies.

Maximum availability with automatic back-ups

We take extensive measures to ensure maximum availability. However, system failures can occur due to situations outside of our control. In those exceptional circumstances, we follow a step-by-step plan to make sure our software is operational again as quickly as possible.

The hardware, software and network are designed to remain available during hardware failures. For example, we use hardware redundancy, two power supplies and two emergency power supplies within a fault tolerant cluster with automatic fall-over.

All our data storage is done on a managed SAN environment with mirrored disks (RAID-5). Complete backups, of both the web and database servers, are automatically made to tape daily. These backups are stored in a co-location. A shadow environment is also in place at this co-location.

Performance-monitoring

Continuous performance monitoring divides transactions into three classes:

  • >60 seconds
  • >20 seconds
  • <20 seconds

All transactions that take longer than 20 seconds are analysed. We then remove the cause of the delay.
